Axing bus passes is discrimination

The Red House Museum was saved from closure by the Guardian campaign plus a great surge of people power.

The Red House united everyone from both political and non political groups.

I wonder if the same effort and public support could be mustered to change the proposal to take away free bus passes from Catholic school children.

The amount of money being saved by this proposal is minimal, but by only targeting Catholic school children it is blatant discrimination.

In this day and age of racial, religious and social equality it’s difficult to see how a proposal like this could ever see the light of day.
