Bailey’s Cafe sells at auction
An iconic cafe that closed down on Christmas Eve has sold at auction.
Bailey’s Cafe shut up shop in December, blaming high business rates.
The shop had expanded onto a second floor after being in the town for 70 years.
The building in Market Place sold for £95,000 at an auction by Pugh and Company in partnership with The Auction People on Tuesday.
It took place at Elland Road in Leeds last week.
