Beer fans host real ale festival at the town hall
The two-day event last weekend was the first of its kind in the town in recent years, featuring around 15 ales and 10 ciders, as well as Prosecco and wine.
The beer bash was arranged by Ben Gwynne, Paul Fisher, Anthony Longstaff and their team, who have already established the successful Cleckheaton Beer and Music Festival.

“We got all the beers from different brewers, some local and some from further away.”
“It was good for a first time and there’s a good possibility we’ll do it again next year.”
A £5 door charge at the festival, held over two full days last Saturday and Sunday at the town hall on Market Place, included a glass and a free drink.
