BREAKING NEWS: Firm’s offices ransacked prompts police hunt

A LEADING business is counting the cost after ‘mindless idiots’ ransacked the firm’s new offices causing more than £5,000 in damage.

The Howarth Partnership, in Brooke Street, Cleckheaton, was raided by thieves overnight on Thursday. Items including five computers, four laptops and petty cash were stolen from the building during the raid.

The thieves used two large bricks to smash their way through a glass door, ripping ceiling tiles from two training rooms where they also stole two overhead projectors.

The firm has only been in its new premises for three weeks.
