BREAKING NEWS: Youths guilty of urinating on war memorial
TWO youths have appeared in court charged with outraging public decency after urinating on Cleckheaton's war memorial whilst drunk.
Both youths - aged 16 and 17 - escaped jail after being handed 11-month referral orders by magistrates at Dewsbury Youth Court, after admitting remorse for their actions.
The youths were drinking lager in the park during the afternoon of January 7 when a park warden spotted them urinating on the side of the memorial - which supports nameplates of dead servicemen and women.
