Business Awards 2011 - Counting down to a glittering evening

The entries are in and the judges are poised – but who will scoop one of our prestigious awards?

The fifth Reporter Series Business Awards will take place on October 27 this year in a black-tie event to celebrate local firms in the district and to reward those employees who deserve a pat on the back.

We want to showcase the best of enterprise in the area but we need your nominations.

We’ve had entries from businesses large and small – then it will be time for the judges to decide who’s the best.

The event is generously sponsored once again by Specsavers, and will culminate in an evening ceremony hosted by Look North’s Clare Frisby which will be held at the Gomersal Park Hotel, Moor Lane.

The event begins with a reception sponsored by Kirklees Council and will be followed by a three course meal and then the awards ceremony itself.

A panel of independent judges, chaired by Kirklees Council’s chief executive officer Adrian Lythgo, will choose the winners and will consider entries for additional categories if they feel it is appropriate.

Tickets for the awards dinner cost £45 each – contact Natalie Mitchell or Andrew Crabtree on 01422 260247.
