Car fire on M62 causes delays
A vehicle blaze on the M62 caused delays of up to 35 minutes for motorists in rush hour traffic this morning.
A wheel from a trailer towed by a lorry fell off and hit a car. The car caught fire around 7am on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 26 at Chain Bar and 27 at Gildersome.
One lane was closed as emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesman from Cleckheaton fire station said no-one was injured.
The lane has now reopened.
