Children’s National Lottery art project
Littletown pupils have been getting arty with a little help from Fabric Lenny.
Lenny – aka Paul Slater – spent several weeks at the school through a National Lottery funded project – called ‘i-collaborate’ – supporting the children using a variety of media, and also involving their parents.
Headteacher Fiona Cullivan-Ward said: “The children have absolutely loved it and Paul is usually surrounded by loads of children wanting to dive in. He has offered a range of experiences including working with iPads, Posca pens, acrylic paint, pastels and chalk along with many other things.
“As the project has progressed, the work moved into 3D models such as robots,
“This project has truly captured the children’s imagination and the work they have produced has led to storytelling, writing and role play.
“The children have absolutely loved having their parents working with them.”
