Chocolat author comes to town

Book lovers will get the chance to meet Chocolat author Joanne Harris at the upcoming festival.

The award-winning writer will deliver a talk about Nordic Folklore at Cleckheaton Library from 1pm-3pm on Saturday, May 9.

Joanne will be reading from and talking about her new book, The Gospel of Loki, which is due out in paperback this summer.

This will be followed by a question and answer session and book signing.

Other titles Joanne, who lives in Almondbury, has penned include Blueeyedboy, Five Quarters of the Orange and Blackberry Wine.

Chocolat was adapted into a feature film starring Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche in 2000.
