Cleckheaton assault appeal

Police have launched an appeal following an attack on a man in Cleckheaton town centre.

The incident happened in the car park on Cross Crown Street and Northgate in the early hours of August 4, but police have just released details.

The 44-year-old victim was confronted by a group of around 10 people between 1.30am-2am and was subsequently attacked. He was later taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.

One the suspects is described as having short hair and wearing dark clothing.
