Brookhouse said that many of the ex-servicemen have transferable skills that can be reapplied in civilian jobs.

Roy Parsk, work-placement manager at Brookhouse Training, said: “Our ex-military candidates have so many skills that make them more than job ready. From timekeeping to work ethics their drive and communication skills are an absolute credit to them.

“The feedback we hear from our industry partners is that they would never hesitate to take our ex-military candidates.”

James McConnell, director at Brookhouse Training, said: “For all of our ex-military candidates re-training has proved to be a success. As the highly trained professionals they are we see the constant willingness to adapt, learn and change to build a reliable future for their families.”
