The countdown to Christmas has begun - details of this year’s lights switch on
Cleckheaton will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Saturday, November 14.
There will be an event in and around Cleckheaton Town Hall, on Church Street, from 9am.

Hide AdA Christmas market will be held in the town centre and there will be a fun fair and live entertainment throughout the day.
Children will also be able to visit Father Christmas in his grotto before a fireworks display and the lights switchon at 6pm.
The Christmas lights in Dewsbury town centre will be switched on outside the town hall on Saturday, November 21.
The event will start at 4.15pm and there will be live entertainment and a fun fair with rides for children.

Hide AdThere will also be a Christmas lights switch on event in Staincliffe Park on Thursday, December 3.
The Friends of Staincliffe Park will hold the event at the park’s pavilion from 6pm until 8pm.
There will be a fair with rides for children, entertainment and hot food will also be available.
My Mirfield has clubbed together with Mirfield Town Council, to organise the town’s annual Christmas lights event.

Hide AdIt will take place in and around the town centre, on Saturday, November 29.
There will be a festive food and craft fair around Mirfield Library and the Co-operative supermarket car park, just off Huddersfield Road.
It will run from 2pm until 8pm and feature stalls selling Christmas gifts and decorations.
There will also be rides at a fun fair which will run from noon until 10pm.

Hide AdThe lights in and around the town centre will be switched on at 6pm.
There will also be live entertainment on a stage in the car park behind the library.
Shows and live music will begin at 4pm and run through until around 8pm.
Father Christmas will also make a visit to the event at around 5.30pm.
