‘The County Court is a key building’
The Grade II listed building overlooking Dewsbury town centre and the railway station is to be transformed into 12 apartments to rent.
The building in Eightlands Road has been empty since March 2012 and was sold on the open market for £278,000.

Hide AdWork for the project is being carried out with assistance from Kirklees Council’s Empty Clusters Project.
The development will not alter the external appearance of the building, other than opening up the original windows which were boarded up.
The owners of the building are John and Sheelagh Robinson, who have appointed Adamco Construction Limited as the principal contractor.
They have been tasked with bringing the former Dewsbury County Court building back into use to provide much-needed accommodation for the town.
