CCTV of gang breaking into Dewsbury house

Police have released CCTV images as part of an appeal for information following a burglary in the Staincliffe area of Dewsbury.

The offence happened between 5pm and 5.15pm on Wednesday, November 25, at a property in Longlands Road.

A number of suspects have forced entry through a door. An untidy search was made but it is not believed that anything was stolen.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about this offence or the people pictured in the CCTV images.

PC Simon Reddington, of Kirklees District CID, said: “While you can’t clearly see the faces of the people in the CCTV, you can get an idea of what they were wearing and general physique.

“They have left the scene in a large saloon-type vehicle, believed to be an Audi.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who has seen these individuals or this vehicle in the area around the time of the offence. Anyone with information is asked to call Kirklees District CID via 101.”
