Man arrested for drug offences in Dewsbury

A man was arrested in Dewsbury and two vehicles were seized by police officers.

On May 17 officers from the Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team attended an area of Savile Town

Officers attended after reports of a nuisance bike being driven.

On arrival officers located a quad bike which was not road legal.

The quad was seized for no insurance along with another vehicle at the scene.

A male was also arrested for drug offences.

Elsewhere in the district officers conducted proactive vehicle checks in the Calder Road area of Ravensthorpe.
