Crowbar attackers raid Liversedge petrol station

Masked robbers armed with crow bars stole cash in a raid on a petrol station.

Police said two people with their faces covered entered Millbridge Service Station store on Bradford Road just before midnight on Friday (November 6) and took the till.

They then made off towards the Firthcliffe Estate.

Det Con Tony Marshall, of Kirklees District CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has witnessed any part of this incident, seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the vicinity or who has information about those involved.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Kirklees District CID via 101.”
