Elderly driver seriously injured after crash
An elderly man has been taken to hospital by an air ambulance with serious injuries following a crash in Dewsbury this morning (Friday).
Police were called to Lees Hall Road, Thornhill Lees, at 11.24am after the elderly driver of a Vauxhall Corsa crashed near the junction with Slaithwaite Road.
They said the driver was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
