A GENEROUS family has donated cash to a doctor’s surgery in memory of a late relative.
Keith Sampson donated £300 to Brookroyd Surgery, Heckmondwike, in memory of his late wife, Joan, who was a patient there.
Practice manager John Pickford said: “Keith wrote me a letter and said he would like to give £300 to the practice to buy equipment for the good and benefit of other patients.
“Joan was a patient for many years and she had suffered with asthma for a long time.
“I got a plaque made and donated £50 to Diabetic UK.
“The rest went to buy an oxygen cylinder.”
Keith, and Joan’s sister, Margaret, presented the items.
