The first public meeting for the Friends of Batley Library will be held next week.
Residents are urged to attend the meeting, at the library, on Wednesday, October 28 from 7pm.
Memership is free for new members and leaders have said it gives people a chance to “make the most” of the facility in the town centre.
The group’s specific aim is to enhance the services already homed at the historical building and current members want as much input as they can get.
The service includes the upstairs art gallery, books, PC software, audio and visual aids and groups of users.
