Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson could not hide his admiration for Anthony Knockaert despite seeing his side slump to their second successive home defeat to Leicester City.

The Foxes ace fired two stunning strikes to seal a fourth successive win for the visitors and second successive loss for Town.

Grayson said: “The lad will never score two better goals in his life. I thought he had entered the Olympic diving competition when he went down at one point and rolled 20 times in the corner but he is a fantastic talent.”

The Town chief said his players were “shell-shocked” after their latest reverse and admitted: “We have had a reality check in the last two games.

Meanwhile, Bradford City were today assessing the severity of Kyel Reid’s groin injury as he faces a spell on the sidelines.

The winger came off after just 26 minutes of last year’s Roses stalemate at Rochdale.

It was a frustrating night at Spotland for City as they failed to break down 10-man Rochdale.

City had suffered a blow before kick-off when Gary Jones, who played more than 500 games for Rochdale before switching to Valley Parade, was ruled out by injury.

Meanwhile Kevin Davies showcased his enduring class as his two set-piece goals helped Bolton secure a draw at home to Leeds.

The former England striker was a thorn in the side of the United defence and twice found room from corners last night to prove he has the heart for the battle in the second tier.

After opening the scoring in the 13th minute, he had to rescue his side with 10 minutes to go after Leeds had turned things around thanks to Sam Byram’s goal and Luciano Becchio’s penalty.
