Free holiday for millionth customer
An airline’s millionth customer was surprised by a celebrity guest and a free holiday when he checked in at Manchester Airport.
Paul Hewson and his family were greeted at the airport by X-Factor winner Shayne Ward who told them their week-long trip to Portugal was going to be paid for by Jet2.
Mr Hewson, who lives in Dewsbury, said: “It’s unbelievable! We’re heading off with the biggest smiles on our faces for the best holiday ever! Thank you so much.” It was the first time the company hit the million mark in a 12 month period. Paul is pictured with partner Linda Dillon, children Emily and Thomas, and Shayne.
