Girl’s phone stolen after she was pushed by thief in Scout Hill

The 15-year-old was sat on a pipe near the Ravenswharfe Hotel pub in Scout Hill between 5.15pm and 6.30pm on Sunday.

A man in his 20s approached her and pushed her backwards onto the grass.

The girl dropped her phone and the suspect, who was described as chubby, Asian and wearing glasses, a plain black jacket and grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms, picked it up and ran off towards Heckmondwike.
