three intrepid souls went on a walk of a lifetime to help raise money for Help for Heroes.
A barmaid was accompanied by two regulars as they trekked 87 miles from Malham to the Walkers Arms in Scholes.
The walk is part of a series of fund-raising events, including some this weekend.
Norma Sheard from the pub said: “It was a sponsored walk by Felicity MeKeown, who has never done anything energetic in her life!
“But she, along with Mark Taylor and Alistair Dearnaly, decided to walk from Malham to the pub.
“For Felicity there was a personal reason for doing the walk as her brother is also in the army.”
A series of activities will be held this Saturday and Sunday.
They include an auction with signed Leeds United, Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls and Yorkshire Cricket goodies up for grabs, plus a BBQ, karaoke and raffles.
