A charity will hold a series of events in which people can swap and give household items they no longer need to people in difficult circumstances.
One Good Turn will hold sessions this Friday at Chickenley Community Centre and next Friday at Batley Library for people in need to receive goods, electrical appliances and food.
Project manager Sophia Crawshaw said:” Participants describe One Good Turn as a family. We are about much more than recycling unwanted items and helps to create friendships and give people confidence.
“You don’t have to be a member to help or be helped and donations can be collected by our friendly volunteers.”
Both sessions will run 1pm-3pm and will be held regularly in Chickenley and Batley if the first two are a success.
