The final preparations for tomorrow’s Mirfield show are under way as the committee gets ready to mark its 20th year.
Chairwoman Karen Bullivant paid tribute to the first show committee who revived the annual event in 1995.
She said: “Their ethos, which is still very much in the current committee, was to provide a fun and affordable family day out.”
The day begins at 9am with the Horse and Pony Show in the Main Ring, with stalls and attractions open from 10am.
This year’s headline acts are Stannage International Stunt Team and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Band.
Tickets priced £5 are available on the gate from 8.30am tomorrow (Sunday).
But 10 readers will go for free after winning tickets.
They are: A Redgwick; C Hadley; C McKittrick; K Sheard; P Kirby; M Brannan; R Grimshaw; T Gardner, N Higginbottom, and L Orme.
