Orgainser beauty therapist Kelly Marsden said: “We raised around £400 on the day and when the lads have collected all their sponsorship we hope to be looking at £1,000.”

Inspired by their example, several other people paid to have undergo a waxing.

More than 200 people visited throughout the event, which also included sponsored head shaves, face painting and a cupcake stand.
