The firm has spent six-months refurbishing a Victorian Villa in Whitcliffe Road and will move into their larger premises later this month.

Mr Meadowcroft believes the move will enable Sabre to expand their target market beyond West Yorkshire.

He said: “The move to larger premises enables us to continue to grow at a steady pace while retaining a clear focus on service.

“It takes us a step closer to our long term aim of becoming one of the leading logistics companies in the North of England.”

Mr Meadowcroft, 33, has spent 15 years working for some of the region’s top logistics organisations before launching Sabre.

Set-up in December 2010, the logistics firm has seen a rapid growth and doubled its annual turnover to £5.1m in the past year.

The business has also expanded its staff, following the appointments of financial controller Josie Swales, import manager Lisa Kirby and sales manager Ross Harrison.

The firm will be also hiring a new apprentice, who is set to join the team next month.
