Man in balaclava tries to rob newsagent

The man entered Lee Green newsagent at around 8.10pm and demanded cash from a staff member.

They refused and the man ran away from the store in Lee Green.

The man was described as white, around 16 to 20 years old, with a tanned appearance, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 10in and of slim build.

He was said to be wearing blue and white tracksuit bottoms and a jacket which was half blue with a diagonal white stripe.
