Man pleads guilty to Earlsheaton stabbing

A TEENAGER has admitted his part in a stabbing in Earlsheaton.

Jack Allen appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Monday accused of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm at Syke Street in the early hours of Saturday June 16.

His victim, Jonny Ramsden, was taken to Dewsbury and District Hospital where he remained in a critical condition for several days.

Mr Ramsden, 24, of Wakefield Road, was discharged from hospital earlier this week.

Allen, 19, of no fixed address, was remanded into custody until he is sentenced.

A date for his sentencing is yet to be agreed, but his case is due for mention at Leeds Crown Court on July 17.
