Mike’s a whizz for Kidz

The 57-year-old from Dewsbury has just done the Great North run, raising £300 for Whizz Kidz, a charity which helps disabled children get involved in sport.

He is now limbering up for the Lanzarote Marathon next month and has already identified his big endeavour for 2012 – the Everest base camp challenge, again for Whizz Kidz.”

His list of achievements includes marathons in London, New York and Paris as well as runs in Dublin and around Loch Ness.
