A LITTLE girl has entered a national competition to win a #10,000 family holiday - and her mum is hoping local people will help her win it.

Monique Powell’s family sent in a picture of her dressed as Little Miss Muffet to the Vosene shampoo competition celebrating family life.

Each month from April to September this year 10 top entries will be sent to the NSPCC children’s charity, which will choose the winner for each month. Then an overall winner will be chosen and will receive a #10,000 holiday.

This month’s theme is traditions - and Monique’s mum Vivian said they had chosen the theme of Little Miss Muffet because the family likes traditional nursery rhymes.

She said Headlands School pupil Monique was currently in second place.
