More than 340 adults visited the exhibition at Trinity Community Centre in Batley Carr on Saturday, bringing hundreds more children along with them.

Organiser David Lenners said: “The whole day was a great success. We were up on last year and very happy with how it went. I think the Lego layout was one of the favourites, but everything was popular.

The show was the third to have been organised by St Peter’s Church in Earlsheaton, which is part of Dewsbury Team Parish.

It featured around 20 layouts, demonstrations of model skills and model making, and trade stalls.

This year’s event received funding from Dewsbury Area Committee plus sponsorship from Beds Direct and NL Van, Truck and Car Hire.
