Mongoose mania goes viral!
People across the world were swept up by mongoose mania this week when a Heckmondwike story went viral – 98 years after it was written.
We shared a clipp-ing from the 1916 Heckmondwike Herald on Facebook, and it was quickly shared by fans, then people further afield – finally making its way onto internet funnies site Buzzfeed.
People from as far away as America picked up on it, and our little story was enjoyed by more than 18,000 people across the globe.
