The following are a summary of the planned roadworks from Monday, April 18 to Sunday, April 24.

Motorway drivers face a series of overnight closures this week on the M1 from junction 39 Durkar, Wakefield to junction 42 at the M62 interchange.

The northbound carriageway, between junction 39 and junction 40 at Ossett, will be reduced to single lane overnight for four nights from 8pm on Monday.

But the northbound and southbound carriageways, between the same junctions, will be closed overnight for three nights from Friday, April 22.

The southbound entry slip road at junction 42 will also be closed overnight for three nights from Monday.

All closures are for carriageway works such as bridge waterproofing and associated bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

Electrical works on the motorway will lead to the closure of a section from Beeston and the M62 this week.

The anticlockwise carriageway from M62 junction 27 to M621 junction 1 at Beeston is scheduled to be closed overnight for five nights from 8pm on Monday, April 18.

The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 29 Lofthouse. The westbound side of the carriageway will be closed between the slip roads at junction 29 overnight on Tuesday 19 April for technology works. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 30 to junction 31 Normanton. The M62 will be closed overnight between junctions 30 and 31 on Saturday. April 23 for work on overhead power lines. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62/A162 junction 33 Ferrybridge.

The eastbound side of the carriageway will be closed between the slip roads at junction 33 for bridge works overnight on Sunday 24 April. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. The A162 will be fully closed 24/7 until July for bridge work. Drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

M62 junction 26, Bradford (M606 interchange). There will be narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit in place until a project to add an extra lane to the roundabout at the junction is completed in autumn 2016.

The slip roads and roundabout will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 18 April for five nights. The westbound side of the carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for five nights from Monday 18 April.

M62, Ainley Top, Huddersfield. The westbound entry slip road at junction 24 will be closed overnight for five nights for drainage works from Monday, April 18. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
