“I am incredibly proud of the school and the amazing work it does to ensure the best possible opportunities are afforded to every young person in our community.

“I know Sue has the skills and the passion to be a very effective leader and I wish her every possible success in the role.”

“The school has gone from strength to strength in recent years – as was highlighted in our ‘Good’ Ofsted report last December – and I want to see that development continue,” she said.

“I believe very strongly that schools have a responsibility for the overall development of students, preparing them for further learning and employment – much more than just exam results.”

Miss Templar said: “There is some sadness for me as Kath has been an invaluable source of support. At the same time there is also an air of excitement as we welcome Sue to begin a new chapter.”
