Bonfire was a sparkling display

The spectacle was enjoyed by hundreds of Local Residents and gave pleasure and entertainment for all ages. Besides the magnificent fire and fireworks display that lit up the night sky. There was music, food and merry-go-rounds. The crowds were orderly and both pedestrians and traffic kept flowing.

This organisation has done a wonderful job. They started setting up on Saturday morning, and the whole site, stalls entertainments, rubbish and ash had been cleared by the early hours of Sunday morning. It required great leadership, team work and good will. The power of the people can move mountains if well led.
