Letter: Rugby League celebrations made for an unforgettable day
I am writing to express my huge thanks to the Town Team for a great day they gave my family and I on Saturday.
I don’t know them all by name, but each and every one are unsung heroes for the time and endless work they all put in to make our town a great place to live in.
Now for the other champions. What great nostalgia it brought back to me to see Stevo and members of the team turn up and display the old trophy again after 40 years. How they enjoyed the film of the game as though it was yesterday.
Here’s to the next ten years when we will all turn up again.
Once again, thank you Town Team for such an unforgettable day.
