LETTERS: Do you have winning team picture?
I was wondering if any of your readers could help me. In the 1880/81 Yorkshire Challenge Cup Final Dewsbury met Wakefield and Dewsbury won.
My great uncle, WE Hanson, scored every single cup match try.
At the time a grand photo was taken of the proud team and used to hang on the wall of Crow Nest Park Museum but in later years was returned to the club and seems to have been lost in the stadium fire. I have been trying to find a copy of the said photo but to no avail.
I was wondering if anyone has any information on were I could maybe find one?
