Nice to see someone
IF elections were decided on persistence, determination and unfailing optimism the winner would already have been declared in Dewsbury West.
A leaflet, a Christmas card and, more crucially, a personal door knock– how nice to see a candidate (Karen Rowling) who is genuinely interested in the view on the doorstep.
And from the Lib Dems and the Tories? Not a peep, as yet.
Maybe they realise that in the face of such strong competition they wouldn’t stand a chance – let’s hope so.
Mirfield’s loss should be very much Dewsbury’s gain.
