Please help us to help a charity

From cleaning river banks and canals, providing work experience through our Marks & Start initiative, to helping many good causes through local fundraising and in-store events.

Nationally we work with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Macmillan Cancer Support, Oxfam, Prostate Cancer UK and others.

Each year store staff get the opportunity to support a registered charity in the local community.

In recent years M&S Simply Foods at Birstall has helped Kirkwood Hospice, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and in the current year we are helping raise funds for the Forget Me Not Trust.

Now is the time to consider who our staff will support in the year from April 2014.

If you would like to nominate a local registered charity please email the store manager at [email protected] with brief details of your chosen charity’s aims.

The successful charity will be chosen by a ballot of store staff.
