Supermarket prices ensuring we don’t over eat!

It is good to see our local supermarket helping out pensioners for Christmas.

I shop at Sainbury’s and they have spotted that not only could I not afford to buy a turkey for Christmas but I wouldn’t know how to cook it anyway.

So I depend on corned beef, priced at £2 for a 340g can on November 15, but now at the December 13 priced at £2.49 for the same tin, It’s good to know that someone somewhere is thinking of my welfare and making sure I don’t over-eat at this time of year.

Thank you.
