LITTLETOWN children are enjoying lessons al fresco, thanks to the generosity of a local business
John Dacre, who runs Park House Nurseries in Littletown, has created a woodland area on his property for children at the neighbouring school to use.
And it was certainly put to good use when storyteller Susanna Meese, from Telling Tales, visited.
Headteacher Fiona Ward said: “It was a magical and beautiful setting for the storytelling session which was about Greek legends and fairy tales.
“Mr Dacre has created this area on his own land for us to use at his own expense and it’s given us a wonderful outdoor classroom. It’s thanks to his generosity that we can take the curriculum outside, he’s such a lovely man and we’re so grateful to him.”
