The Batley Ninjas, a rounders team with roots in the South East Asian community, will be showcased on an online platform along with other UK organisations.

Glorious is launching the new platform on Friday, February 26 to elevate women’s sport by carving out more space for female voices and stories.

A spokeswoman said: “Glorious is spearheading a new aesthetic that intersects sport and culture through collaborations with leading writers, photographers, illustrators and filmmakers such as photographer Coco Capitan, designer Kelly Anna, Sports Team’s Al Greenwood and with special content from Miquita Oliver.

“This year might have changed the landscape but sport and exercise in times of quarantine matter more than ever – especially for women.

“While communities cannot get together right now, Glorious still brings the focus onto the integral role sporting communities play in the lives of women up and down the country.”
