Police appeal into cheque fraud
A man who tried to cash a fraudulent cheque is being sought by police.
The man went into Natwest in Market Place, Heckmondwike, on February 27, and attempted to cash the fraudulent business cheque.
Sgt Andrew Bentley, from Spen NPT, said: “After internal systems flagged up previous attempts to defraud money from the business account the man was asked to wait for the manager and at this point he left the branch.”
