Helping to catch an eight foot boa constrictor is all in a day’s work for Batley’s Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Officers were called to Nethercroft on Thursday after a resident found the snake basking in the sun.
It had escaped from its owner’s home nearby and settled on a stone wall.
