Police hunting a gunman after Batley shooting
Police were called to the forecourt of the BP petrol station on Bradford Road, near Tesco, at around 10.25pm.
A 23-year-old man was found by police and had suffered gunshot wounds.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital and police said his injuries are not life-threatening.
Officers cordoned off Caledonia Road on Tuesday morning while they carried their investigations.
People living nearby the scene said they were shocked by the incident.
One resident, who asked not to be named, said: “I got up and saw lots of police cars outside. They shut the road all morning. I hope they find out what happened.”

Hide AdOfficers reopened Caledonia Road around noon on Tuesday and they later arrested a 19-year-old man on Bunkers Lane in Staincliffe.
He has been released without charge.
Det Chief Insp Mark McManus reassured residents that the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident and that neighbourhood policing patrols would be increased.
He said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing and we are very much continuing to appeal for information.”
Police said the suspect is mixed-race, in his late twenties to early thirties and around 6ft tall.
