Police release Efit after “suspicious incident”

Police have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a “suspicious incident” in Bierley.

At about 5am on Tuesday, September 22, a woman was awoken by a tapping noise on her front window of her house in Ferrand Avenue.

As the woman walked to her front door, she saw the man had entered the hallway.

He asked the woman if he could sleep on the couch, but she asked him to leave.

He is described as white, in his mid to late teens, of medium build and about 5ft 2ins in height.

He had short brown/ginger hair, a round face and was wearing a light-coloured short sleeved t-shirt. He spoke with a local accent.
