Police seize handgun from car on M62
Police have seized a handgun and ammunition after stopping a car on the M62.
Officers pulled over the BMW on the westbound carriageway near junction 26 at Chain Bar.
Police searched the vehicle and found the weapon at 7.10pm on Wednesday August 7.
West Yorkshire Police said a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
Inquiries are continuing.
