Police warn trick or treaters to behave during Halloween
They are advising parents not to let young children venture out on their own and to make sure that children only knock on the doors of people who they already know.
Police also said that parents should make sure their children do not have access to fireworks, alcohol, eggs or flour.

Hide AdAnd they also want to warn children that if no-one answers the door - or if there is a ‘No trick or treat’ sign on display - they must leave immediately.
A police spokesperson said: “Remember not everyone wants to take part in trick or treating so do be considerate to others.
“Remind children to stay with their friends and make sure they know that they should never enter the home of a stranger.
“If you are going trick or treating this Halloween, keep to well-lit and well-known areas and make sure you are with someone at all times.”
