Police warning about window fitting scam

Police are warning residents about bogus window fitters.
The Dewsbury and Mirfield Neighbourhood Policing Team wants to hear from anyone who has been approached by cold callers wanting to replace windows.
On June 13 a man visited the home of a couple on Crackenedge Lane at 3pm, claiming to be from a window replacement company. He persuaded them to go to the bank, withdraw money and hand it over.
